When Bek had her second baby, Kove, in 2021, she was overwhelmed with emotions. Straight after his quick birth, the very next day, she was dealing with real estate agents, trying to find a place to live back in Brisbane.

Her family made the move from the Whitsundays when Kove was just two months old. Bek joined every free Brisbane Facebook group she could find and attended all the local events, but she realised she never saw the same mums twice. She found it difficult to form those deeper connections, and she missed the strong community she'd had with her first, Harris.

Juggling two kids, packing and unpacking boxes, and attempting to build a new circle of mum friends, Bek crammed her week with swimming classes, soccer, and any other baby or kid event she could find. Eventually, she burned herself out and ended up dealing with postnatal depletion.

After focusing on herself and slowing things down, Bek felt compelled to help and support mums just like her. That’s when she decided to create a space for postnatal care and a supportive community for mothers—and that’s how Intuitive Mummas was born!

    OWNER

Mother to 3 gorgeous girls who keep me on my toes. My motherhood journey continues to teach me about myself and the world in which we are raising children in.

Having not had a support network when I had my oldest 15 years ago I see the importance of creating a space where mums can come and find their village. With personal and professional support to ensure mums not only survive but thrive in their new journey.

I love supporting women in all aspects of their life, and meeting new people everyday.

I love travelling, holistic health and wellness, professional development and my two sausage dogs.

At any event, whether social or professional you will always find me holding a baby.

    FACILITATOR & FOUNDER

Mum to two beautiful boys, Harris and Kove. I've had my fair share of roles in life, but being a mum is by far the most transformative, challenging, and rewarding one I've had. It’s the role that’s taught me the most about myself, my patience, and what it truly means to grow.

I’m always up for learning new things and seeking out the deeper meaning of life. I’m a genealogist, constantly fascinated by the connections we have to our past, and I also love a bit of yoga and getting a pedicure (mainly so I can just sit in peace in the massage chair for a while).

Above all, I’m passionate about empowering women—especially mums. I want every woman to feel strong, supported, and confident in her own skin. Because, let’s face it, we deserve the space to be ourselves in a world that can sometimes expect us to be everything all at once.
